Application of Preconditioning Agents

Preconditioning agents used in the casting process are additives introduced into the molten metal before the actual casting operation. Their purpose is to improve the metal’s behavior during solidification and in the final casting. They can be thought of as a way of “preparing” the melt in advance.

Our preconditioning agents ensure that the molten metal is optimally conditioned before casting, resulting in a finer microstructure, reduced porosity, and consistently stable, high-quality cast components.
